This 43,000 acre wildlife refuge hosts over 250 species of birds and is a premier production site for trumpeter swans. An auto tour route and visitor center offer spectacular vistas of marshes, trees, and wildlife. A small gift shop of wildlife books and locally made crafts serves as a fundraiser for educational programs and habitat enhancements.
